HARMONY FIELDER, a successful African American academic, has achieved what her parents had not. She had a degree from NYU, a retirement fund, and the respect of her peers. Now all she needed was to find the right partner and seal her happiness. JEREMY SPARKS, was handsome, the owner of tax consulting business owner and her boyfriend. The match between the two of them would make for a fairy tale ending. But Harmony finds out that he meets with some clients without accounting for his time. She begins to suspect that Jeremy is having an affair. The revelation of her cheating boyfriend causes Harmony to doubt what her happiness was based. She attempts to test what she really wants after attending a Careers Day conference at her college. She picks up a leaflet explaining what it takes to be a Talent Agent. She was always interested in the film industry and celebrities, but thought that lifestyle was too precarious. Plus, she had no connections to that world except a college friend, PHILLIP, who moved to London as a director for independent films. She decides to call Phillip who encourages her to visit London on a holiday. Harmony tells Jeremy of her plans. Jeremy objects, as he thinks it isn't right that she has a holiday without him. Harmony tells him about her suspicions which he denies. Harmony storms out their apartment. She goes back to her office and looks up websites to create a professional resume. In doing so, she gets examples of resumes for Talent Agents. On a whim, she decides to copy the resume and put her name and date of birth on it. She thinks that she doesn't have the time to study for a new career, and sees this as an opportunity to start anew. Without having any high hopes, she sends her fake resume to a few companies in London. She is contacted by KEVIN, the director at Hightower Production Studios, and is invited for an interview. Harmony reads up on everything about talents agents. Feeling confident she could blag her way through the interview, she flies to London to meet Kevin for the job interview. While in London Harmony, stays with Phillip in his flat while on a two week visit. During the job interview, Harmony impresses Kevin with her knowledge of matching people and talents to jobs and she land the position as new Talent Manager. Surprised, she tells Phillip and they go out and celebrate. For the first time in her life, she smokes and drinks. After getting drunk with Phillip, she wakes up in bed with him. She doesn't remember anything but Phillip begins to have feelings for her. Things become a bit awkward as she is still officially dating Jeremy. Later, Harmony calls Jeremy and tells him her news. He is confused and threatens to travel to London to expose her if she doesn't turn down the offer. Harmony hangs up the phone refusing to give up this opportunity. Going to work with Kevin makes Harmony happy as she is learning a lot of new things and about the lifestyle of the Brits. She drinks more, smokes, and begins to use British expressions like "boot" when referring to the "trunk" of a car. Her new lifestyle is chic and includs nights out with soon to be celebrities and people in the arts including films, theatre and music. Then one night, while out networking with Kevin and some colleagues, Harmony gets drunk with Kevin. Kevin convinces her to let him get a taxi for her which they share. However, Harmony feels bad going back to Phillip's place in a drunken state and she goes to Kevin penthouse flat. She is amazed by the luxurious place he lives, and succumbs to his charms and they sleep together. Soon they begin to have a secret romantic relationship. Not long after, Harmony has to go back to America to put her affairs in order including her relationship with Jeremy. When she arrives back at their apartment, she notices that someone had eaten her favourite brand of cereal, Oats and Fiber. Jeremy is allergic to nuts and she find red wine in the cupboards though they never drink. After inspecting the house further she gets enough proof to accuse Jeremy of cheating on her. She had a way out of the relationship. Jeremy relents and lets her go. Harmony goes back to London to take up her post permanently working with Kevin. Then she gets a letter from the Human Resources department at Hightower Production Studios for an original letter of reference and contact details of two past employers. She is backed into a corner. She doesn't have proof of any past employment as a Talent Agent. She risks losing her job, her work visa status and being ruined by her peers in America. Will Kevin be her saviour in more ways than one?

Jean-Marie Mazaleyrat

Hello Edith, Is your story complete? This could be a very interesting "atmosphere" movie with the French touch. A slice of life from day to day with an ending up in the air, without any character's arc: just what American people hate but award!
