About Chris

For twenty years, I have been on the front lines of the culture and land use wars that roil the rural west. I partner with ranchers, tribes and environmental groups to develop renewable energy projects, with some notable successes and more hard defeats. I write about the people, places and problems I know from those conflicts with love, respect and a still-hopeful heart.

Unique traits: Business development and project finance for large scale wind farms. Created an early web based music portal. Competent horse man.
