I'm more than grateful for the talents of X Hallström and X Ross et al for their guidance and loveliness in regards to my writing. (About ten years ago a soap was interested in me as a potential writer to join their team but would have had to move country. I'd move today). The following cut n pastes are positive opinions on my works and almost all are abridged and refer to my first four scripts. Some script readers have likened my contemporary writing to that of Dostoyevsky, Beckett or Chekhov. I've never read a paragraph from any of their great works as ironically I don't read fiction, only non-fiction (unless it's a screenplay from a film/play I already know and admire).
“Your writing is very rich, instinctive and akin to music. You have to open your senses on every level for the stories to truly work. I’m a fan of your often oblique-symbolical dialogue. Your concepts can stretch infinitely.” (G.H.)
“You write beautifully, concisely and economically. You paint pictures and moods.” (P.W.)
“You have profound compassion for suffering humanity and the characters sing the longings of their secret souls with tuneful honesty.” (A.T.)
“Powerfully moving writer.” (D.S.)
“You make the audience the characters.” (A.J.)
“A lyrical quality to your writing that is rare these days. There is a hypnotic feel to your work.” (J.S.)
“You're very understated and use subtext and subtlety to draw out a story. You have a unique writing style.” (H.R.)
“A first-rate imagination.” (J.B.)
