About Léah

I'm a South African born independent filmmaker living in Auckland, New Zealand. I have a lifelong passion for storytelling and love to write stories, scripts and poetry. I enjoy helping others develop their scripts, getting them connected to the right people and making things happen. I collaborate with a company called Angle3 Pictures, and our motto is 'Just Shoot the Damn Thing', because dreaming must always become action, even if it means starting out by believing in yourself and the strength of your own ideas and passions.

I currently have a short film travelling film festivals at the moment called Smoke & a recently released crime/drama web series called Project J (Link available in my profile).

Other than filmmaking, I love exploring, travelling, huskies, coffee, writing, music, swimming, church and basketball.
