Chris has been dancing since the age of 17. He started training with his high school's dance company in ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, modern, and hip hop. Senior year, he joined his first dance studio at Jamz Dance Center, joining their competition Hip Hop crew. That year, Chris learned from Shawn Stevens, Chris Langowski, James Wu, Kevyn Jones, Lance Guillermo, and many more. At the end of his first competition season, he was awarded the opportunity to be on the United States Dance Sport Team (USDST) for 2012.
Now a part of the USDST, Chris went off to Bochum, Germany to compete in the IDO World Hip-Hop Championship 2012( the Dance Olympics ). At the competition he placed the highest the USA has ever placed, 5th overall in the Battles.
After coming back from Germany, he relocated in the Washington DC area and had the opportunity to join Culture Shock DC troupe as a principle dancer for choreography and freestyling. Also he has been traveling, teaching workshops along the east coast. In 2013, Chris has been appointed as Co-Captain of the USDST, renamed as the "Highest Definition Crew". For now, Chris teaches at Rage Box Dancer Center and Project C Studio. And has bigger plans to come.
