I serve as executive editor of Mercury Press International (the media agency I co-founded twenty years ago). My stories have been published in magazines, newspapers, books and periodicals around the world. I've edited and assisted in the publication of about a dozen books. I write a syndicated daily column, Linda C Black Horoscopes, that appears in about 80 newspapers worldwide, through Tribune Media Services, with a total distribution (print, broadcast, cable, online and mobile phones) of over 8 million daily.
With film, I've produced, written, and edited short video news clips. I produced a two-minute promo for a Kickstarter campaign for a non-profit, and co-produced a fifty-minute piece that aired on local TV for a private client, Antioch University. I collaborated on the screenplay for an animated short film, to be released this year. And I'm writing a feature length screenplay on my own Cherokee ancestors' story, about the Trail of Tears.
