PERSECUTION HILL
By J.L. Blakely

GENRE: Horror
LOGLINE: Six university students embark on a camping trip from Hell when they are stranded in Persecution Hill, a ghost town of the damned, and must survive a night in a deserted barn with a demon as their host.

SYNOPSIS:

Evil feeds off fear and what six university students on their summer vacation fear the most is missing out on a good time. When the group decides to go on an end of summer camping trip, death couldn't be further from their mind, but when KUMAR collides with a deer on a deserted road they find themselves trapped in Persecution Hill - a village of damned souls - with only a barn for shelter. The Evil also takes shelter in the barn. Throughout the night, one by one they are killed, in a way befitting their fears and psyche. LAMB, the psychology student, loves and is attracted to fear. She's studied fear and understands how it feeds evil. But even though she understands it, she can't stop the evil entity from killing her friends; one gruesome death after another. LAMB and JAMES are the only survivors and realize they must go back to free all the souls that the entity has trapped in the barn. After James' hospital release, the two head back to Persecution Hill and perform their own brand of exorcism that releases their friends and the rest of the dead townsfolk from the grasp of the evil entity.
