Danny Agama is a filmmaker originally from Chicago where he studied directing, cinematography, and experimental film production at Columbia College Chicago. The imagery in his work is known for its Eastern European and avant-garde influence. His films, often melancholic and fatalistic, examine the quiet suffering of humans by exploring themes of alienation and loneliness.
Danny works in a variety of mediums including narrative dramas, comedies, experimental film and documentary hybrids, video installations, and audio landscape pieces. His films have been screened at film festivals and events including the Auburn Independent Film Festival, Chicago Short Shorts, Stories That Move You at the Pritzker Auditorium in Harold Washington Library, and Curious Eye - an experimental film and art showcase at Manifest in downtown Chicago. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
