My works include the comedy screenplays “Act Your Age” , “Happily Ever After…Maybe”, and a half hour pilot featuring the same characters. “The Husband & Wife Chronicles” performed at Samuel French Bookshop and spec scripts for “Mike & Molly” and “Brooklyn Nine Nine”. In addition to numerous comedy short scripts, my blog chronicled the funny side of life, and weekly movie reviews. I have has also written a tween book “Twin Engins” that I am adapting into a family screenplay, and my suspense thriller “Wilson” is a short script that will keep you guessing. My graphic novel “Missy Muffet” looks at the dark side of a nursery rhyme.
My spec for “Brooklyn Nine Nine” is a quarter-finalist in the 2014 Final Draft BigBreak Contest. My short “Nick” placed 2nd in the Just Effing Entertain Me contest, and my short “Space Needle” was a semi-finalist in the Cyber Space Open. In 2013 my husband and I were the winners of the Pitch & Duck Fest, where we pitched our historical drama.
I served as President of The Alameda Writers Group from January 2014 to January 2015. In 2013 I was Associate Producer for “Glam in La La Land” comedy events at The Hollywood Improv, and Associate Producer for “Cannoli & Haggis” a pilot presentation at The Comedy Central Stage.
I am also an actor and comedian with training in standup and improv at Flappers Comedy Intensive, and SAK Comedy Lab, where she served as house manager.
