Gary O' Driscoll

Gary O’ Driscoll is a freelance filmmaker, photographer, and journalist from Derry-Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

A graduate of the Newport Film School, Wales, where he studied on the BA Hons Film and Video course. Learning from industry professionals such as Professor Christopher Morris (The Hallelujah Kids), Peter Watkin Hughes (Cow), Justin Kerrigan (Human Traffic), Shafeeq Velani, Phillip Cowan (The Separation), Vivian Mainwaring, and Nigel Orrillard.

In his first year at film school, his short film ‘Eros’ was sent to the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York along with a small selection of other short films as an example of the work being produced by students at the Newport Film School.

He returned home to Northern Ireland after graduating in late 2013 in order to further pursue his goal of working in the Film and Television industries.
