About Shondra

An Alumni of the Juilliard School of Drama, Shondra continues acting alongside her music career, being cast in leading roles in comedic, dramatic, musical theatre, film and voice over work for radio and television. Musically she has performed in concert in cities throughout California, Reno, Las Vegas, Canada and Mexico and star headlined on popular cruise ships and at parks like Sea World.

Shondra is an awardee of an American Tracks Music Award for Best Metal Song 2019, Nominee in the 5th Annual Widescreen Film & Music Video Festival for Best Music Video in Las Vegas, Nominee in the LA Music Video Awards for Best Lyric, Nominee for Best Music Video in the Utah Music Video Awards, Nominee for Best Rock Music Video at the Audio Shoot International Music Video & Film Festival in Ireland and nominated in the 7th Annual Jerome Indie Film & Music Festival.

Her winning song, Greed Incorporated is on the daily playlist on Radio KSCR. Several of her songs from her I AM CD are published in Unity Worldwide Ministries Songbooks and heard on EmPower Music Radio. Three of her songs from her Inside Fire CD won Radio KGB's Best of the Homegrown and awarded radio play n San Diego, CA. Her song, Victorious was the featured song for the Celebrating the Troops Home USO Concert and won radio airplay during the parade downtown San Diego. That same song was featured while headlining a fundraiser she co-produced called, Rockin' For Comic Relief in San Diego umbrella'd by HBO.

Besides her song catalogue touting well over 100 originals, she has composed and produced songs for a long list of clients including three of her own musicals - two woman musical Hot Flashes On the Trail,

(in which she co-stars in), Horse Tales & Cowboy Trails and Delta Dental's educational touring musical, The Mouth Project, She's composed dozens of theme songs for organizations including Cancervive's on-going Gilda Radner Award Shows, Laugh for Life alongside saxist conductor Tom Scott produced several times in Los Angeles, Wesley Clark's campaign song at presented at the Comedy Story in Hollywood, Awesome Animals Vitamins, KCEO Radio's Health Is Your Wealth Radio Show, Keep Sedona Beautiful, Northern Arizona Against Sex Trafficking Coalition, The Humane Society and many other commercials and animation projects.

Shondra is a well-respected private acting, voice & stage performance coach assisting her students with auditions, scholarships and admittance into drama conservatories, winning singing contests and pageants for 20 plus years. Many have continued on as professionals in the industry. She is the co-founder of Sedona Youth Theatre in which celebrates it's 13th successful year. Shondra has coach principle leads on musicals which include Godspell, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, Next to Normal, Guys & Dolls, Footloose, Fiddler On the Roof, Newsies, Peter & the Star Catcher and Crazy for You. She often guest coaches at health & wellness retreats with her Finding Your Voice workshops across the USA and Canada.

Her list of voice over credits for TV, radio, website, audio books, industrial films, documentaries and animation are impressive. Her voice and on-camera work is regularly seen & heard on Red Rock Channel 16 TV, Glenn Scarpelli's Channel 18 Sedona Now TV and on Yavapai Broadcasting channels KKLD, Q102.9, KVNA-FM, KVRD KYBC, KVAN ESPN. She is also one of the popular emcees for Chamber events, mixers, and a host of other main events & festivals across Northern Arizona including Good Morning Sedona's co-emcee, script writer and show director for 15 years.

Having been a guest soloist in churches throughout her career, being contracted as the weekly Music Director for Unity of Sedona's 2006-07 evening services and nine years at Center for Positive Living was a natural fit. Paying it forward to local singer-songwriters, Shondra founded and produced her weekly In the Living Room Concert Series, donating her time to promote, book and run the series every Wednesday evening for two yrs.

Shondra has also founded, produced and lended her talents on teams for a long list of fundraisers to assist organizations which include, Be Their Voice - Artists for Animals for Humane Society Sedona and Second Chance Center for Animals, Sedona Sunrise Superstar Contest & Cottonwood Idol for Sedona Sunrise and Susan Reims Adult Day Care Centers, Sedona YMCA, Sedona Verde Valley Relay for Life Races, several International Peace Day celebrations.

When three Sedona families lost their homes from fires in May 2013, she kicked into gear with an idea to coordinate & lead a team of people for a full day and evening community fundraiser called Sedona Cares ~A Day of Action. It included indoor & outdoor concerts, auctions, sales and an outdoor Fair which resulted in raising $30,000.00 in which her team distributed to the three families.

Committed to being of service, Shondra stepped up as the 2018-2019 President of NAWBO, (National Association of Women's Business Owners) Sedona-Verde Valley Chapter and continues on the NAWBO Board as the Past President/Marketing Chair. She also serves on 4 Board of Directors for Sedona Historical Society, Jack Jamesen Memorial Sculpture Park and Sisterhood Connection Foundation. Her awards for community service include Sedona Verde Valley's Woman of the Year 2018, Arizona Foundation 2017 Community Collaborator of the Year Award, NAWBO 2017 Community Involvement Award, PWG's-(Professional Women's Group) 2012 You Make A Difference Award, Good Morning Sedona Special Achievement Award and Arizona Foundation's 2013 Business Benefactor of the Year awarded to her and her partner/husband Tom Jepperson.
