Mr. Hoyd received his Juris Doctorate Degree from DePaul University College of Law in 1997. He received his Bachelors of Arts Degree from Northern Illinois University and his Associates of Arts Degree from Triton College. DTO Sports and Entertainment then hired Mr. Hoyd as Director of Operations. Ken’s duties included, but were not limited to, monitoring DTO’s compliance with applicable NCAA, State, and league regulations, as well as, being largely responsible for the recruitment of DTO’s extensive clientele roster.
August of 2006 marked the birth of Conduit Communications, LLC. Ken formed one of the most innovative multimedia companies to come along in decades. ConduitChicago.com an online Info-tainment magazine created to help answer reader’s questions and concerns about who is the next big thing in Chicago’s Arts and Entertainment Industry.
Acting as Editor-in-Chief for three years and writing several editorial pieces on a myriad of subjects, Ken decided to expand his writing credentials to Film and Television Show treatments and Scripts. To date has conceived over 20 television shows from cable dramas to sit-coms to reality. The first TV show to air being “The Cultural Xchange”, which is televised on Chicago’s WCIU. Mr. Hoyd has also written over 10 WGA registered film scripts, as well as, wrote and directed several music videos for Chicago music artists.
