Nominated in Omaha Ne for The Amazing Heartland Woman in 2006 for having excelled in juggling a career . Charity work. In the community and being mother and grandmother.I have opened for Jack Velasquez.
at the ROCCO THEATRE IN LINCOLN. I HAVE BEEN AT CARNEGIE HALL WITH ALMEDA AND JACKSON BERKEY from THE MANNHEIM STEAMROLLERS .
First Runner up to Mrs. Nebraska in 2003.
I Was honored with the performing arts award in my honor at thr Mrs. -Nebraska America Pageant. THE AWARD IS NOW CALLED THE CARMELITA DE LA GUARDIA PERFORMING ARTS AWARD. Given every year at the pageant.
