LOGLINE: An ill fated, retired soldier, who has lost his love and friends, in the war, of which he was the part once, battles for the survival of most cherished soul.

SYNOPSIS:

In United Indosia, Aasha, cousin of an arrogant, chauvinistic, student politician Nawab Maqbul, from rich Nawab family, falls in love with a poor, charming lad Peera, who mostly stands for his buddies, khotee “Eshaan, challu Lallu “Sadique” and Dani “Danvir Sing”, live in harmony with religious differences in hilly Shrigah. Nawab Maqbul always reacts to Peera's self-esteem, taunts him about his poverty. Aasha, secretly, shares pleasant moments with Peera, Nawab Maqbul learns this, retaliates, beats him with the help his rowdy gang. On the brave act of saving cows "Gau Mataas" of weak willed Khotee, from train accident, Peera and Dani are offered by an English army officer to join army. Nawab Maqbul takes part now in active politics, and is against Indosia's division. He burns Peera's home, when learns Aasha is about to escape to forthcoming state of Pakizustan with him. They get caught, Peera gets brutally injured, Dani intervenes, Aasha gets captured. Later, Khotee gathers courage, disguise as Muslim, gets Peera to Samjhota train, telling lie about his family been burnt in riots and Aasha killed herself. Heartbroken Peera leaves, witnessing Khotee beheads by furious Hindu mob. Lying, Peera is dead, Nawab Maqbul forces Aasha to marry his rich pal from "IPL" Indosian People's League, which she accepts with broken heart, gives birth to a baby boy and takes refuge in studies. Simple-minded Challu Lallu’s sister, now wife of Dani, secretly, propels her brother to cross the border, as situation there isn't favorable for him. Aasha’s husband abandons and deprives her of her son on joining "PDA" a liberal party. Now she lives alone, her son joins Indosian army on his uncle’s wish. On the other side, lonely Peera now Lt. Col in Pakizustan army, in operation "Bin Qasim" infiltrates Shrigah, a disputed area. Aasha, "PDA" protests against this and demands plebiscite. War breaks, Peera's fate brings Lt. Col Dani in front of him, who, fighting boldly gets killed by his own ex-buddy. Indosian Army crosses West Pakizustan's border as a counter attack. Later, cease fire with hell of the collateral damage. Years later, Peera marries Bengolian vocalist, who leaves him after the killing of her father in a massacre of East Pakizustan, deprived of her daughter. When deputed in East Pakizustan, Peera reacts on dishonor of his mother in-law. Nationalist movement, riots, is at its peak, Indosia open her door for refugees. Nawab Maqbul, "IPL" becomes instrumental in adding fuel by providing logistics to freedom fighters. Aasha’s son, Xerox of Peera, comes to say goodbye to her, before going to join the mission. Along with few sharp shooters, in rake mission, Peera encounters freedom fighters, Aasha's son in Indosian army, who, fighting boldly gets killed by his own father. In deadly fight all Pak solders except Nadir, whose life is saved by Peera, die. Aasha, grieved, heartbroken on her son's funeral, later gets shocked to see Peera among Pakizustani POWs on tv, in liberated East Pakizustan, now Bengolia. Ignorant of her son's killer, Aasha along with the “Red Cross” visits POWs, Peera. She learns the truth, which turns her into feminist, peace activist, as she thinks that it's the men who do this shit "war" for their gigantic ego. We learn Aasha and Peera had a “Nikah”. She quits PDA, establishes an NGO, "DOVE", her fellows join the cause. In late 2017, Peera now peace-promoting columnist lives with his daughter and delicate, keen grandson "Munna", a very special and expressive child. Peera becomes active and alert on the news of Challu Lallu’s death, crossing "LOC", near Shrigah, to visit his sister on death bed, which triggers tension on Indo-Pak common border. Aasha is captured by intelligence agency for her pro peace campaign, protests. A bomb blast near parliament in Delhi escalates tension, armies' mobilization, it leads to irreversible situation. Talibanan, already infiltrated in KPK, kills Peera’s daughter, taking an offense on his interview. He has left with Munna. Dove takes out rallies against jingoism. Politicians, media, without realizing the consequences, boast being atomic power, trigger tension between both the nations. Nawab Maqbul opposes aggressive policies, quits IPL. Thinking about his loses, dreading devastating nuclear war, Peera tries to convince Nadir “ now one of the policy makers”, not to go for “nuclear” war. But limited war turns into outbreak, both the countries launch major attacks all along the international border accompanied by an intense air strike. Pak army stations secretly, atomic arsenal in Bengolia, to cover Indosia from east. Aasha loses her life while volunteering, turning down her cousin's offer to flee. In both the countries, the bandits and looters take advantage, women get raped. Food shortage leads people to cannibalism. Peera hides somewhere in hilly area, along with sick Munna, to survive. In anticipation of other country's major nuclear attack, it finally leads to the catastrophe, the nuclear fallout, which destroys everything on its way, gloomy Jalil Shah, comes out with Munna dead, has nothing to live for.
