Virginia native, Joyce Sherrí stepped off a Greyhound bus at New York City’s Port Authority terminal on August 23, 2010, jobless and without concrete living arrangements. Armed with her passion for creative writing, Joyce hurled herself into the independent film capital of the world in pursuit of a career as a writer and director. A year after her exodus to the empire state she was accepted into the Tisch Graduate Film program at New York University. While Joyce has several projects in various stages of development including Sherman: The Web Series and The Family Romance a romantic comedy short currently in post-production; she is also is in the process of developing her first feature film and a final thesis film to complete her M.F.A.
