Sheila J. Anderson

With teaching as my number one passion, and singing number two, I have found a way to combine the two for a successful career. Twenty years ago I went back to school and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Theater and Master’s Degree in Theater Education with a minor in Vocal Music. I have performed in the theater, "You Can’t Take it with You"; and in film/television, "Cicero in Winter", "Two Flat", "Boss", "Chicago Fire", "Chicago PD", and "Shameless" . I also had a principal role int the movie "The Pink Princess". I 've been a regular cast member for a comedy webcast, Comedy Well Done. I have travelled the United States and Canada singing in an ensemble. I was the Assistant Director for the musical “Goin’ Home with Duke” at the Harold Washington Cultural Center in Chicago. I have produced, directed, and performed in many plays and short skits at several different venues. I am the Drama Director at my church. Currently, I teach drama and voice classes at Spotlight Youth Theater and am a Performance Coach with Actors, Models, and Talent for Christ.
