Eren Önsoy has written music for several shorts, including the film entitled, Onno de Onwetende, which won the 'Orona Saria Award' for 'The Most Cutting Edge Film' at the San Sebastian Film Festival this season. He has had his concert works performed in various venues, including the Grachten Festival in Amsterdam. As a performer he has participated at the International Oud Festival in Morrocco, as well as the First Istanbul International Improvisation Festival.
Through the years Eren has become well-versed in many different musical languages, including jazz, contemporary music, and electronica.
Having earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano Performance and a Master of Music in Film Composition from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, he is currently studying Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music in London, where he's a Clifton Parker Scholar supported by a Soirée d'Or Award.
