In the reception lobby, Alma is given her room's keycard, but when she recognizes the number on the key as her date of birth, a seed of doubt is planted. Mounting pressure from the controlling receptionist and a feeling of not being able to turn back now force her to continue to the room where Belén joins her. Upstairs in room 422, right and wrong is suddenly not so clear, and ethics and morality will not help you to make the right choice.

On the plane he forms a bond with Dr. Kan, who promises to look into possible treatments for his condition. However, when they arrive, Yeung tries to kidnap the doctor and when Jon intervenes, he's also taken hostage. The two soon realize they're brothers, and decide to work together in order to keep the criminals behind the kidnappings from reinfecting the world of a disease long thought cured. Many years later, having lost each other that night, both are engaged to be married. Still, neither can shake the need to give fate one last chance to reunite them. Jon enlists the help of his best man to track down the girl he can't forget starting at the store where they met. Sara asks her new age musician fiance for a break before the wedding and, with her best friend in tow, flies from California to New York hoping destiny will bring her soulmate back.
