I'm a designer with an MA in Graphic Design and Illustration. After graduation, I moved to London and landed an internship at Discovery Channel where I worked on both on-air and off-air projects within the design department.
My work with AfterFX was what spurred me to further develop my skillset in Motion Graphics and Editing.
In addition to my tenure at Discovery, I also spent time as an assistant set designer attending shoots for music videos, commercials, and short films. It was an excellent opportunity to participate in, as well as observe, the entire film making process.
Upon returning to Belgium I acquired a position at JIM, a music television channel. I was responsible for cutting promos, and designing motion graphics for wide variety of shows. After a productive and educational two year run at JIM I decided to pursue my career as an independent.
Freelancing has allowed me a much wider range of opportunities within the industry and has allowed me to explore a broader range of topics and mediums.
I continue to work in video as well as character design, illustration and graphic design.
