Filmmaker and Photographer, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1962. He graduated from Marist High School in 1981 the same year, he went on to study filmmaking at the Philadelphia College of Arts, (now University of the Arts) in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated in 1985 with a degree of Bachelor of Arts, film major. Latter that same year he attend the prestigious International Film & TV Workshop in Rockport Maine, where he studied Lighting and Cinematography with Walter Lasselly BSC. Upon his return to Puerto Rico, and for the folllowing 30 years, he has worked as a freelance in numerous projects in Puerto Rico and abroad. Ricardo has traveled amply in Europe, the Caribbean, Central America and North America attending film festivals, studying, working, and collaborating in a myriad of projects as Director, Assistant Director, Producer, Production Coordinator, Cinematographer, Photographer, Assistant Camera, Location Scout and more.
He currently lives with his wife, twins and pets in the Mid-Hudson Valley, Dutchess County, New York.
