SYNOPSIS:

Kailash as a boy of 8 sits on Amma’s (mother’s) lap at the first floor window of the grand colonial bungalow in a Malaysian oil-palm plantation. Little Kailash hugs Amma tightly at the roll of loud thunder in the sky. Amma tells Kailash that the gods of Mahabharata are locked in battle in Heaven, and chants “Hari Hari Arjuna” to ward off harm from the blinding lightning in the sky. Kailash, now in his forties and a wealthy planter is confined to the wheelchair after a polo accident. Left sexually dysfunctional by the accident, Kailash is increasingly paranoid that his ravishing model wife Anita is having an affair with her manager Jeffrey, once an erstwhile friend of his. Kailash’s suspicion about Anita and Jeffrey drives him to near madness. Kailash’s one pivot of sanity is the memory of his sweet and angelic Amma. At moments of mental anguish caused by his searing jealousy, Kailash beckons Amma in his mind, who offers him comfort with her stories of Hindu mythology and superstitions. Kailash’s male nurse and bodyguard, shares a bond with his boss. Samson’s thugs beat up Jeffrey on Kailash’s order. Anita rushes to nurse the badly bruised Jeffrey. Jeffrey grabs Anita and kisses her, confessing his love for her. Anita is shocked and confused. She leaves hurriedly in tears. Anita starts avoiding Jeffrey. Kailash’s suspicion grows stronger. Kailash invites Jeffrey to join him and Anita for a weekend at his family mansion on the plantation. Jeffrey accepts the invitation, for a chance of being with Anita again. But Anita is distraught. At the family mansion Kailash lays a trap for Anita and Jeffrey. He gets Samson to place hidden cameras in the house to spy on Anita and Jeffrey. In a chilling climax set in darkness and storm, the love triangle takes a new twist ....
