Most of my life has been connected to film. I wrote and acted in "plays" as a kid. I had a filmstrip kit in 5th grade. When I laid hold of my Uncle's video camera around the age of 11, it was all over. Shortly after that, our family had our own VHS camcorder and I was making films. Without going to film school, I taught myself filmmaking - by making movies, watching movies, and reading about movies. When the digital revolution came along, things got democratized. I had a digital media company, Shrinking Man Media, for 5 years around the turn of the millennium. After a stint in retail management (where I learned a ton about managing people), I started my current production company, Pursuit Productions. In our 3rd year, we have made wedding films, promotional films for websites, documentaries, and commercials. A short, narrative screenplay is in the works.
