A creative cineaste & technophile, Carol Ann Macahilig has a BFA in Film/Television from New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. While there, her short films have earned a Warner Bros. Production Film award, as well as screenings at various venues & festivals. Carol has also served as location sound mixer & ADR Editor on “Chutney Popcorn”, an independent feature directed by Nisha Ganatra.
A skilled engineer in DVD and Bluray Authoring, she has authored numerous titles of renown that span the feature film, music, fashion, & corporate markets for clients like The Criterion Collection, HBO, Comedy Central, BBC America, Oscilloscope Laboratories, Warner Music, Sony, as well as independent filmmakers & producers.
A sometime model & actor, she has been involved in projects like the Marriott Love Travels LGBT print/web campaign, appeared as a background artist in shows like CBS's “Madam Secretary”, “Person of Interest”, Comedy Central's “Broad City” and the film, “Annie”.
Carol is currently in development on a TV pilot with other production partners with an aim to direct. The project is slated to aim at various markets & channels, like Netflix, Amazon & the foreign film/TV market. She hopes to also develop a feature film project & is open to meeting with future collaborators, writers, producers, financiers, & transmedia idea people.
