Jack Attwood

Hi. I am a 22 year old filmmaker from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. I have lived here my whole life; grew up, went to school, got my first job here.

After I finished my A levels I decided not to go to uni, but to try and pursue a career in film by other means. However, having been in an education environment for most of my life, I wanted a bit of a break. I decided to take a year out, I did a bit of travelling and built up my filmic knowledge.

It was during this time that I was applying for jobs and was successful in gaining an apprenticeship with a local corporate video company. It was full time for a year as an apprentice, taking part in all aspects of the production process, but my main roles were as an editor and B-roll camera. It was during this time I really developed as a filmmaker.

Now, 3 years later, I am still with said company and thoroughly enjoying my work and operating in a vast array of industries and sectors.

During my spare time I try and develop my own creative ideas, screenplays and shorts. I try and watch as many films as possible, both for entertainment and inspiration! My favourite directors are Nolan, Zemeckis and Linklater.
