Pavlos Kosmidis

Pavlos Kosmidis was born in 1985 in Thessaloniki. He graduated from the department of Cultural Technology & Communication, at the University of the Aegean. There he showed an aptitude and passion for documentary filmmaking. Since then he worked in various roles of film industry such as runner, assistant director, camera assistant, editor, producer and cinematographer. In 2009 he shot his first short documentary. In 2010 he returned to education to attend film school at Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh. Graduated in 2011 his MA in Film Directing. His film “Stairway to Titika” was selected for Thessaloniki Iternational Documentary Film Festival 2014, AegeanDocs 2014, DocFest 2014. He is now based in Athens, working on a feature documentary.
