About Robert

Best known for his contributions as a 3D animation and visual effects journey man for major studios in Los Angeles, Vancouver, London and Hawaii, as well as his native Montréal as an artist and a teacher - Robert Rioux has no creative, geographic or cultural boundaries. Rioux has studied graphic design, photography, theatre, improv, and screenwriting. He also taught 3D course at Cégep du Vieux Montréal and gave seminars on color grading on DaVinci Resolve and screenwriting.

Robert’s animation and VFX credits include over 30 films, numerous documentaries and TV commercials including The Little Prince, Mune, Astérix Au service secret de sa majesté, Red Cliff, Inhabited Planet, Young Victoria, Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D, Rush Hour 3, Dino Lab, Final Destination 3, Happily N’Ever After, Valiant,Scooby Doo 2, Extreme Engineering, Dinosaur Planet, Expedition Bismark, Lost Worlds: Life in the Balance, The 6th Day, Bedazzled, Dracula 2000, Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within, The X-Files (the movie), Star Trek Insurrection, The Astronaut’s Wife, Pushing Tin, Fantasia 2000, The Flintstones Viva Rock Vegas Mystery Man, Anna and the King, Little Nicky, Hollow Man, Along Came a Spider, Battlefield Earth, End of Days, Blade, Red Planet et Armageddon.

Robert is presently developing his first feature film.
