About Jenn

Jenn Mello wears multiple hats in the media space. She is the Founder/CEO of Film Interchange, a self proclaimed marketing guru, as well as an Indie Film Producer through her partnership with Gina Gadjosik at Visual Music Ink.

In 2013 Mello Founded Film Interchange, a community of and for filmmakers. At her bi-monthly events, she elicits the guidance of high-end filmmakers to speak to other accomplished film professionals who are looking to learn, grow, and network. She takes the utmost interest in all of her members, ensuring that they have a place to go for guidance and career enhancement.

As a producer, she and her partner are currently developing a feature film entitled (Make Me) Blush, as well as a television pilot entitled The Rise and Fall of Lisa Fox, both written by her producing partner Gina Gajdosik. At their company Visual Music Ink, Mello & Gadjosik offer coaching to producing teams looking to develop new projects.

Jenn came to filmmaking by way of music holding a BA in Music Education from The University of North Carolina, Greensboro and MM from NYU's Steinhardt School. She has served as an adjunct voice professor at both NYU Steinhardt, and The College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE). She was honored to direct a production of The Crucible during her time at CSE. Mello has also presented workshops at Seton Hall University as well as The University of Richmond. Education and the arts have always been at the core of Mello's life calling.

Unique traits: I'm invested in the filmmakers in my community, as I make it a priority to get to know each and every one of them and their projects. As a producer, I'm great at finding ways to save money for a production, I think outside of the box, I'm solution oriented and I'm fiercely organized.
