Hope your Saturday is going well! My name is Ashleigh Coffelt. I'm a Filipino American director & cinematographer based in Los Angeles & DC. In the last 5 years, I've written, directed, filmed and edited over 90 short films, 15 of which have screened at film festivals both internationally and nationally.
I'd love to connect with you on upcoming projects, especially projects focused on empowering women and changing media portrayals of women and minorities.

Thanks so much for reaching out, Ashley. Look forward to connecting and supporting each other's projects. Stay safe & healthy.
Welcome Ashleigh,

As an actress/writer in the process of making the journey from NYC to Los Angeles without my support system and collaborators, this article really resonates with my heart and inspires me. What you created looks amazing! This story is so encouraging ~ and helps me believe that I too will find my people, resources and added inspiration in this new city!
Thank you, Katie, for the read and compliments! I can relate moving across the country without a support system and having to find my film family here, but that's why we all have each other. Welcome to LA! :)
Thanks for the WELCOME!! Sorry for the lag in response time...moving was quite the expedition!
Inspiring! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the read, Harri-Pekka Virkki!
This looks like a promotional blog for peerspace. All of it is facts I’m sure but I was expecting a little less of ‘peerspace’ and more of filmmaking.

Expand commentGot it. Thanks for the reply. I too used peerspace for finding locations for my short film. I must say that this is probably the only locations portal where the location owners are most active and respond immidiately. I had to get the second day location just a day before and peerspace had an option for me and the owner responded in minutes which saved my project. However, I think there is a need to mention that the filmmakers must read all the terms carefully before renting. My schedule went over 2 hours and the owner charged me 1.5x for that duration. I wish I read those terms before.
Thanks for posting, great article!!
Well done! You're a determined lady. The morgue still looks immense.
Thank you so much! The morgue was a really fun and challenging part of the shoot.
And thank you for the read, Brian T Shirley and Reaghan Reilly !

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
RB
