César Pedro

Born in Braga in 1987.
Finishes the Bachelor Degree at TCAV from ESMAE-IPP in 2009.
In the same year participates in Vilnius, European Capital of Culture, as the Director of an international students project where he gets nominated for Best Picture and Best Director award.
Wins the Young Creators Award 2009, for the short film “Conference”.
In 2010, is selected as a finalist of the Second Edition of the Inov-Art Programme to go to Mozambique to shoot his first feature film.
Back to Oporto in 2011, directs a series of documentaries around local theatrical companies like Pele and Ponto Teatro.
Was the Technical Director of Cinema and Video of the Manobras no Porto Festival.
Right now is working on a sequence of six documentaries developed for European Capital of Culture in Guimarães 2012 about the Studio Orchestra Foundation.
Is co-founder of associations such as Confederação and Cineclube Aurélio da Paz dos Reis.
