LOGLINE:

An adopted girl meets her biological brother for the first time in their adult life after learning of their father’s mysterious death in the Philippines. As the siblings travel to other side of the world to finally piece together their father’s past; they become bound to a future they never expected.

SYNOPSIS:

Annaleigh works for her adopted fathers at a Group Home for teens in Texas while she reorganizes her life. She’s reached an impasse about her career and future. When a typhoon sweeps through a part of the Philippines killing Paul Sinclair, a traveling pastor and her biological father, she is compelled to meet her brother, Jacob, for the first time in fifteen years.

Commissioned by their Aunt Ethel in Oklahoma, Anna and Jacob journey into the Philippines and Paul’s past to become bound together by family secrets; such as the discovery of Imelda, the lone survivor of the typhoon and an unexpected love affair. All of which is challenges and redefines the nature and function of their family.
