About Mike

I am an award winning writer/director/cinematographer from Toronto, Ontario with over a decade of experience in the film industry.

I am the lead editor at Moment Communications and run Helix Reel Entertainment and its subsidiary, Helix Reel Weddings. I have won “Best VFX”, “Best Cinematography”, “Best Directing” and “Best Film” at the 48 Hour Film Project Toronto and have had short films programmed in two Toronto Short Film Festivals, Filmgate Miami, Seattle True Independent Film Festival, and NXNE’s Laugh Sabbath. I have also edited a documentary that opened/sold out at NXNE and is now available on Netflix, "Ages and Stages: The Story of The Meligrove Band".
