Born in 1988, Joel Louis Varjassy has actively been involved in the music scene since age 17. In 2008 he received a certificate for the completion of “Digital Music”, an online course offered at www.thinkspaceonline.com. In 2010, he enrolled in the Digital Audio Art program at the University of Lethbridge. He is self taught on the piano and when given the time, he enjoys building his own studio gear. He plans to continue his studies in orchestration, sound design, and engineering.
Mainly working as a mixing engineer for clients around the world, he also spends time working with local artists, family, and friends. In 2010 he was an assistant engineer on Shawni Shimbashi’s EP entitled “Shawni Shimbashi”; in 2011 he recorded and mixed her single “If You Say I Do”.
Audio is not Joel’s only interest; 3D animation, motion graphics, design, cinematography, and photography have all caught his attention over the years. In 2012 he open his company called "Paradigm"; a company that develops cinema products at an affordable price. His first product, the "Ketos frame", will be release in Q4 2012 with other products soon to follow.
