Daniel Geeves

I started my journey into film and video 4 years ago when deciding to step down from theatre acting. I attended the University of East London to study Film and Video and from my first day I knew that film is where I want to be. Primarily a Director and Writer, I have created several short fictional films and promotional videos. However, on my filmmaking journey I have performed many roles, such as Producer, 1st AD, Editor, Camera Operator, Sound Operator and more, all on short film projects.

My dissertation film project 'MICHAEL' won best third year film, and from there I went on to win a creative futures certificate.

Since leaving university I have gone on to start up a production company with others to create films and also showcase other creative art forms. Although this is in very early stages.
