SYNOPSIS:

REDEMPTION is a feature length western set in the 1870s in southern Texas and northern Mexico. It is a tale of revenge, romance, and, ultimately, redemption... A despondent former Texas ranger, MASON CAMPBELL, takes to the bottle after his wife and partner are murdered. Then comes news, via the partner's brazen outlaw brother, EZEQUIEL DIXON, that those deaths are linked to a human smuggling business operating in the area. Dixon calls in favors to assemble a motley crew of uniquely skilled individuals and the bunch head off to Mexico to shut down the operation at its source - a compound where the women who have been kidnapped are taken and sold into slavery. The mission changes from revenge to rescue when it is discovered that the ranger's wife, HANNAH, is still alive and being held captive there. Complications arise when the group infiltrates the compound and finds that it's boss is actually the ranger's former partner, SAMUEL DIXON, who faked his own death, kidnapped Hannah, and brought her to the compound. An epic conflict ensues as our heroes battle the compound soldiers and free the enslaved women, some of whom join Ezequiel's forces, helping to turn the tide in their favor. With things looking grim for the compound's forces, Sam absconds with Hannah, fleeing the compound, and setting up a final confrontation as Mason and Ezequiel track them down. Mason must now summon the courage to kill his former partner and best friend to save the woman he loves.
