About Christian

Once upon a time Christian dreamed of becoming a stuntman. But several injuries and a blood clot later, he decided that writing would be a far safe (and equally exhilarating) endeavour.

Christian is a produced and optioned writer. His screenplay The Boy Who Had Three Arms placed as a top 10 Finalist in the Screen Craft Comedy Contest, and as a Finalist in the UK Film Festival. The script also won Honourable Mention at Screenplay Festival, was a Second Rounder at the Austin Film Festival, and landed on the Coverfly Red List. Most recently Christian won the award for Best Original Horror/Thriller for his script The Hiding at the Richmond International Film Festival. The Hiding has also featured on the Coverfly Red List.

Christian’s supernatural thriller The Kindred won Honourable Mention at the Screenplay Festival and placed as a semi finalist in the Scream Craft Horror Contest before being optioned by Parkhouse Pictures (Anna and the Apocalypse, 2017).  The film stars James Cosmo (Braveheart, Game of Thrones) and Samantha Bond (Downton Abbey, Goldeneye). The Kindred had its world premiere at Fright Fest and was soon after longlisted for the Raindance Discovery Award at the British Independent Film Awards.

Horror Feature, Fractured (2016), for which Christian wrote the screenplay, was nominated for 9 awards and went on to win 6 at the British Horror Film Festival, including the award for Best Feature Film. It went on to win Best Film at the London Independent Film Awards.

Chris lives with his girlfriend and their three cats in England and currently has a portfolio of completed feature-length screenplays.
