I am Leonardo Nuñez, a Cineaste born and raised on the Upper West Side of New York City. I work in the audio and visual industry as a writer, producer, director, director of photography, editor, audio producer-engineer.
For the past 10 years I have worked as a freelancer Cineaste writing, shooting, directing, lighting, and editing music videos, commercials, new media, movies, and more recently corporate documentaries. When I am not working on a project for a client you can find me at the park playing with my two kids.
I have worked as a producer/engineer for more than ten years on various types of music. My works for hire include Bachata genre remixes for Universal Music Latin Entertainment on music from Enrique Iglesias, Juan Luis Guerra, Marco Antonio Solis, Luis Fonsi, and songs for other recording artists like Fulanito, AB Quintanilla, Andy Andy and many others most probably have never heard of.
With a burning desire to become a filmmaker, I went on to learn the craft of filmmaking through an immense study of film theory, screenwriting, directing, cinematography, producing, and film finance. When I thought myself to be ready, I began offering my film/video production services to my already existing audio clientele, thus creating my real world, “on-set” experience directing talent, crew and scheduling productions written by me.
