SYNOPSIS:

A young writer (Henry), having the best time of his life. Ideal career and married to the ideal woman (Haley). Completely in love with his life, he feels on top of the world, until suddenly his life is turned upside down when a Police Detective reveals to him that his wife has been tragically killed in a car accident. Upon identifying her body, he sinks into a world of chaotic emotions and anger. He sinks into blaming God for what happened, although he knows he needs him for strength. At the lowest point of his life, Henry proceeds to kill himself by shooting himself, but just before he pulls the trigger, he hears his wife's voice call out to him, causing him to open his eyes and visually see her. At this point, he becomes scared, confused and thrilled at the fact of knowing something is wrong with himself, but yet he is now able to see, speak and touch his wife again. This new world that his mind creates simulates an imaginary friend relationship, but forces turmoil upon his close friends and family, leading to the ultimate conclusion of his family filing involuntary commitment papers in reference to getting him help with a medical facility, which he becomes diagnosed with schizophrenia and causes him to make the hardest decision of saying goodbye to his wife and losing her again or being forced by the medical facility and losing her on someone else's terms.
