About Vanessa

Vanessa Pegram is a Los Angeles-based writer and chronic illness warrior who writes female-driven underdog comedies about loveable weirdos just coming into their own. After acquiring several chronic conditions, including Lyme Disease, Pegram strives to make the invisible visible while helping people with misfit, broken-toy adolescences or disabilities feel seen. Pegram earned her MFA in screenwriting from The American Film Institute Conservatory and founded Script Rx Consultancy, a script notes service. She recently married her husband twice, (thanks Covid) and couldn’t be happier to never talk about napkin color or hounding guests for RSVP’s again. (You know who you are!)
