Susan Beaubian

I am an actor and singer with Broadway, Film & Television, Commercial and Recording credits. In fact, though I no longer dance, I actually started my professional career as a dancer. Hard to believe I know, but I've been at it a long time! I teach voice to all ages, beginners through professionals, as well as coach acting and singing auditions. I have written and directed stage productions ranging from cabaret acts to children's theatre to burlesque. I created a children's theatre program called "Dramasaurus Rex", which I taught in after-school programs at several elementary schools in the Los Angeles area. I've been dabbling at writing for many years, and am currently putting myself through DIY writing school for film and stage. This DIY course includes reading all the highly recommended books for screenwriters and playwrights, including those by Lajos Egri, Robert McKee, William Goldman, Syd Field, David Mamet, Christopher Vogler, John Gardner, Stuart Spencer, Linda Seger, Blake Snyder and many others. I have several writing projects in various stages of development, and find this to be an enormously challenging adventure that makes me excited to sit down at my computer every day.
