About Annabelle
Annabelle Marieza likes hats, and wears many of them. She is an actor, theatre maker, producer, stage manager, designer, social media fanatic and an enthusiast of fine typography.
Annabelle is of mixed heritage, and grew up as a third culture kid in Jakarta, Indonesia for twelve years. Her unique hybrid background has informed heavily upon her performance work, which focuses on combining physical form with projection, visual art, dance, puppetry, written word and more.
She is influenced by the writing of Charles Bukowski and trashy gossip blogs, dappled sunlight and sky-high stilettos, acoustic handclaps and heavily-processed electro tracks.
She likes pandas and bicycles. A lot.
Annabelle completed her Bachelor of Performance at the Australian Academy of Dramatic Art in 2010.
Unique traits: Half Australian, half Indonesian.
