SYNOPSIS:

This contemporary noir is about an everyman, Mike, who shared a simple life with his wife Jessica, and daughter, Hannah, and follows the aftermath of their tragic and unexpected deaths. Mike’s longtime friends, John and Jude, attempt to keep Mike grounded as he sorts through his grief, alcoholism, and suicidal ideations while an inept detective attempts to put together the facts of his wife’s death.

After an unproductive start to the investigation, the wary widower asks to see the security footage of the incident. Ultimately he discovers a minute detail which leads to the killer.

Mike then decides to circumvent justice and embrace his demons subsequently providing the detective a token of appreciation for being allowed, through the ineffectiveness of the law, to dispense vengeance.
