SYNOPSIS:

In the early 1800s, when a sweet young witch was to marry an abusive warlock, she cast a spell where she couldn't be located and ran for her life, leaving all her family and responsibilities behind.

The warlock, enraged, turned to the darkness, slaughtered her entire family, and used their blood to find her and return her so she could die by his hand.

Once found, a fierce battle ensued between the witch and warlock once the warlock realized she had birthed the child of a mortal. Now, with something to live for, she cursed the warlock and held his malevolent spirit within her body until her dying day. His spirit was too strong and was close to killing her just by harboring it, but the Gods of their kind saw that she would be more beneficial alive, so they bestowed the power of light to her so she may survive, but only under the condition that when she died, the power and spirit be passed to every child.

From this point on, this power of light was passed on to every daughter born after her, but when Anna and Victoria's mother dies, and the cleansing/transfer ritual doesn't get completed, the dark entity of the evil warlock is released with free reign of who to choose. So it goes after the second-born daughter who's inexperience and rebellious nature remove any awareness of what she's about to experience.

It's up to Anna, the oldest and rightful holder of the dark spirit and power of light, to learn where the spirit had gone, console and convince her sister to return for the remainder of the ritual all while her mother's right hand turns out to be a traitor who wants to harbor the dark entity's spirit to use against the rest of the coven and lay claim to the throne that is rightfully Anna's/
