British Actor. Born in Sussex, England. He trained at Webber Douglas Academy, with a full scholarship from the welsh council in Gwent and was also awarded full scholarship to Bristol Old Vic. His father formerly in British Intelligence, and uncle formerly a Commander in the British Royal Navy , he was destined clearly for lots of action, including 'Doomsday', 'Blood and Oil', 'Sinking of the Laconia', ' Zero Hour', ' Our Girl' , the leading role in 'The Message' and most recently action Sci-Fi movie "Revolt" with Lee Pace. However, in the UK, he is probably best known as Eddie in the award winning musical 'Blood Brothers' on it's first tour UK Tour and in the West End London. Playing opposite David Cassidy and Helen Reddy, amongst many others. In the feature film 'Revolt' he played lieutenant Smalls alongside Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy, Twilight Saga) directed by Joe Miale. Also with Ben Schnetzer (Warcraft) in "The journey is the destination" directed by Bronwyn Hughes, and as Major Hare in the BBC army series 'Our Girl 2' directed by Jan Matthys, and appears in the forthcoming Belgium TV series "Salamander 2" directed by Frank Van Mechelen. He played the lead role of Martin Gibson in forthcoming thriller feature film, 'The Last Sacrament' written and directed by Patrick Garcia. Theatre includes title roles in the Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, Romeo and Juliet, The Taming of the Shrew and Hamlet, amongst numerous other theatre productions over a decade in repertory theatre and on tour throughout the UK. In theatre he also played Jake in Pieter Torien's acclaimed two hander comedy production "Stones in his Pockets" and more recently he played the lead role of Jerry in the hugely successful and critically acclaimed production of Harold Pinter's 'Betrayal'. He has appeared in dozens of International feature films and television series and has even written comedy and drama for television series in Uk and SA. He also wrote, produced and acted in Palm Springs official selection film,bought by BBC Wales, "A Soldiers Story" based on the Falklands war. He starred in the multi award winning Feature film 'Beat the Drum' and the most recent leading role on a television series as the ruthless detective Gavin Archer in local South Africa TV drama 'Gold Diggers.' As a highly respected International Voice Artist he has done literally hundreds of major voice campaigns, locally in SA, across Europe and globally, involving top commercial brands and international sports. He has narrated numerous documentaries and was the global voice of the National Geographic Channel for three years. He also ran a successful voice and acting agency for over 8 years. He has voiced two international comedy children's animations playing various characters. He has voiced several South African and International campaigns which have won numerous awards over 16 years in the Gold and Silver categories at the CANNES LIONS advertising awards, as well as dozens of local South African advertising awards for the LOERIES and the television promo awards, PROMAX.
