Lola Spitfire has over 20 years of performing arts training and experience. In 2003 she found herself high heels first in burlesque, after being cast in Finlandia Vodka’s Campaign “Refresh with Burlesque”. Through the campaign she was trained by the Cantankerous Lollies from San Francisco and hit the stages up and down the coast of California. Falling in love with burlesque Lola decided to branch out, like Beyonce, as a solo artist; performing at 12 Galaxies in San Francisco with The Lollies, Kitten on the Keys and San Francisco’s Famous Burlesque Orchestra, At The Conga Room in Los Angeles for Bella Beretta’s “A Night of Novice Nudes” and at The California Institute of Abnormal Art in Burbank, CA for Lenora Claire's "Low Brow and High Heel" and "Apocolipstick": Chad Michael Ward's "Sin Garden" Launch Party, to name a few. Lola also performed with The Lollies and Harvest Moon at Tease-O-Rama 2003 at The Henry Music Box Theater in Los Angeles.
Lola is the brains and the booty behind Southern Colorado’s first and only burlesque, male burlesque and vaudevillian variety troupe, Peaks and Pasties, where she headlines and produces monthly burlesque and variety shows. She is the headmistress and co-teacher of The Spitfire and Sparkle Academy of Burlesque and a producer of The Colorado Burlesque Festival (July 12-15, 2012 in Denver http://coloradoburlesquefestival.com/).
She was officially sanctioned by burlesque Legend Satan’s Angel as “A Queen of The Fire Tassels” and was voted one of the Top 50 Burlesque Performers by 21st Century Burlesque in 2009 & 2010.
Today you will find Lola performing in burlesque festivals around the country and headlining shows in Colorado and New Mexico. She also produces burlesque extravaganzas bringing superstars of burlesque and living legends to the stages of Colorado.
