SYNOPSIS:
A new innovative school seems like an inviting privilege for upcoming bright students, even with the strange I.D. tags imprinted under the skin and big brother approach to surveillance. Halina and her friends are the type of rebels who won’t put up with the bureaucracy. In their quest stop a massive government conspiracy they unlock the power to shift between realities.
She holds the fate of her world in her hands, has to learn to think for herself, prevent government corruption, and cope with a reoccurring dilemma – she can’t save everyone in every reality.
SHIFTERS is a young adult contemporary, adventure graphic novel. It is speculative fiction based in a dystopian society and portrays an intense battle between a group of friends and a corrupt government system. It appeals to the teenager who is searching for his or her identity without being influenced by outside forces.
