Luis Aira

I am a director, an author, and a visual artist who works in the Entertainment and Advertising industries. I’ve directed spots for clients such as Coca Cola, Sprite, AT&T, J.C. Penney, Carl’s Jr. , Wells Fargo, Converse, Sears, Ikea, Honda, The John Kerry Campaign for President, Gore/Lieberman Campaign for President and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. My work has been the recipient of many awards
including the prestigious Clio.

I’ve also directed several short art films one of which is part of MOCA’s permanent collection and showcased globally at the Institute of Contemporary Art, as well as the experimental feature “Girl in 3D,” awarded best feature, Indiefest Chicago, and best Thriller and Best Actress at The New York Independent Film and Video Festival.

I am also the author of two fables , “The Dreamer,” and “Somewhere.”

I am currently working as CD in the advertising Industry and developing TV content.
