About Vince

Vince Parenti began acting in the early 90s and moved to Los Angeles in 1997. He started writing in 1998. His first screenplay was read by Baltimore Spring Creek in mid '98, but was ultimately passed on. His second screenplay received an offer for purchase. Being a low-budget genre film, he turned down the offer hoping for a bigger budget production. If he had representation, that might not have happened. But Vince kept writing genres, alone and with co-writers, getting another project optioned. A year later the option expired and the script was unproduced. In 2005 he raised money and produced a feature he wrote that went on to win a Silver Remi award for Best Independent Film in Houston's Worldfest Film Festival in 2006. Then in 2009, he wrote and produced a TV pilot, which premiered in the NY TV Festival and went on to win Best TV Pilot, Award of Merit and other accolades. Fifteen screenplays, two TV pilots, a lot of shorts and many years later, Vince is looking to forge new relationships, develop new projects, and to continue to write more scripts.
