Renata Bialkowska

I'm a producer, director screenwriter and writer and like to collaborate with others to make things happen. Most recently I produced Mother Tongue a Womens Poetry, Art and Music Event for International Womens Day. I also wrote and directed “Train Station Dude” which aired nationally in Australia on the Aurora network. Previously I made an award winning film CRUMBLE in starring Steve Bauer ( SCARFACE) and Oxsana Lada( SOPRANOS). I won ” Best Directorial Debut" at The New York Independent Film Festival
I produced MAKING A LIVING directed by Mark Mann that proceeded his documentary FINISHING HEAVEN which aired on HBO and was nominated for an Emmy .I've worked in distribution selling films both domestically and internationally at AFM and Cannes Film Festival. I'm also an award-winning publicist and has designed and implemented over 50 film publicity and public relations campaigns. I helped produce theatrical premieres in New York and Los Angeles for such films as GREAT NEW WONDERFUL, featuring Maggie Gyllenhaall Edie Falco, and Olympia Dukakis, VIRGIN starring Robyn Wright Penn, MOVING MCALLISTER starring Mila Kunis and DARK MATTER starring Meryl Streep.
I have worked with PBS DISTRIBUTION releasing BBC show Downton Abbey, Masterpiece Theatre DVDs and documentaries and have worked with Australian Distributor TITAN VIEW releasing Australian-Chinese co production 33 POSTCARDS starring Guy Pearce. I have a Bachelor of Arts from Sydney University majoring in GOVERNMENT and am currently finishing my Masters of Media Arts Production at University of Technology Sydney. I currently reside in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney
