Charlie Evans

Charlie is an ambitious and calculated film maker who has always held the belief that it is hugely important to incite change in the hearts and minds of a few and at the same time entertain the ever changing audiences of today. This is the first reason he began his pathway into Documentary film, before graduating with a degree in Film making and Creative Media in Bristol.

He has always strived to uphold and represent a positive zeitgeist in the projects he is attached to. Charlie has always been taught to appreciate semiotics in detail, create content responsibly and
represent subjects in a sensitive but honest way.
Charlie has worked in a wealth of Creative Industry. From small
commercial Graphic Design, Music Visual Promotions, Short films & Documentaries. From influential underground Artists to large broadcasting companies.

Charlie’s personal projects are rooted in alternate education. developed links with the Cedar School for specialty learning in Brighton UK and developed his first, completely independent project with an alternate learning studio in Bristol UK which can be viewed on http://cmedf.me/documentary/

‘A strong belief of mine is that everyone in visual communication holds great responsibility for the triviality of the content that they produce. I feel that the time for hollow promotion has passed and we who add to the visual body of worldly work must strive to positively influence and admirably educate. For whatever can be learned professionally, there is a duty to fuel and inspire the generations below us to create a better situation. Mentors, Teachers and Industry Professionals gave me exactly this when I first became curious about Film Making as a craft.’
