I'm still growing deeper into this, something I love and am very good at. I would like to know the best sites for work and other keys to success beyond the above.

There are many sites out there that deliver auditions to voice talent, one of them being Voices.com. If you'd like to learn more about Voices.com and what we offer, let me know. Thanks again for reading!
I feel like you contradicted yourself here in pt. 2. You sound stricter about the rules than before. Maybe it's just me. I think a writer does himself a favor by being freer in and with the process. Not everyone is the same type of writer, but most processes taught are not tailored to the typical writer.
Hello Eric, thank you for your network request! I wish you all the best, Isabelle
Mind blown! Jeff, you are brilliant, and you clearly shine a light, with detail, upon the interior frustration all writers suffer with. We all feel like our material is no good if it doesn't fit into this box, whether that's three-act structure, normative script format, or something else.

There is a simple truth in this article we all need to hear. Thank you, Dawn. Your name is ultra-cool too, by the way.
A Star Wars parody entitled "The Empire Collides Back" made as part of a class assignment in college. This is the first short I ever directed. Silent (filmed that way because of criteria of assignment).

Hi Eric. Perhaps post a direct link to the article. ;)
I review Rings for The Pit.
https://plus.google.com/+AHalevonEric/posts/G99T2DsgCHSEye-opening read. I had a thought when you mentioned Godzilla and Martian. Would you say Nolan films like Interstellar and Dark Knight fall into the gray area?

The trailer for Harley Wallen's (Batman v. Superman) Taken Over, which I am producing, dropped. Coming in 2017. Take a look, like it, share it, give us feedback! Oh, yeah, feel free to enjoy it too. I know you will. https://youtu.be/vl5AIl4MqIY...

Writing a screenplay is hard enough. There is so much rigmarole, it drives me crazy. Not just that but as a writer I fall prey to artistic roadblocks and self-scrutiny where, 11 pages in, I loathe what I wrote. Constraints of the script are no consolation; they're still an impossible climb. Nothing I learn about screenwriting puts me at ease.

Since I made the decision to really make the push to act in April Ive managed to get cast in two short films and four music videos, Im collaborating with a producer in the states on a web series, Ive since been cast in two more shorts set up for July and August. I practice everyday, take any classes I can find and keep trying to network. But the question I keep asking myself is 'am I doing enough?' is this a question that all actors ask themselves or am I just being stupid?
I'd say it's the absolute hardest thing. But there's great freedom that comes with acceptance.

Expand commentI think you're bedeviling yourself with the wrong choice of word. 'Enough' has all sorts of implications which I don't think help someone build a career. That is, 'enough' implies that there is a certain quantifiable level of activity which you must put in to achieve success and if you don't do 'enough', you won't succeed. I think this is both intellectually and psychologically the wrong approach. As mentioned above, there are all kinds of things which you can't control in working to be successful. And food, a roof over your head, etc., all are necessities. I'd consciously discard 'enough' and simply do what makes sense in terms of you, your work, and your life.
Richard is right; you seem very busy and committed to what you are doing. I wouldn't doubt you're headed places.
I enjoyed your article. When did you know you were ready to make a web series?

I had two auditions in the last week; I'm at work on a screenplay (steadily); conceptualizing a documentary (looking to get some meetings with producers); and I've wound up at a new acting school recently where I've taken a few classes. I finally feel more comfortable in my role (no pun intended) as an actor, especially one growing and learning. Nothing very earth-shattering, but I have high hopes. Things are moving along.
A fine and encouraging read. It's all about timing and there really is a great deal of fortuity involved.
